Norton has a very clear no-logs policy, which says it does not track anything you do online. Norton uses the AES-128 encryption standard which though good isn’t widely used as the AES-256. It does not have a kill switch, however, we like that both your connection data and online activity are never stored. We also never found any DNS leaks using Norton.

Performance

Norton Secure VPN doesn’t provide raw OpenVPN configuration files. When we tried connecting to UK servers, the speed was pretty good. The US speed tests also ranked above average indicating good performance with respect to speed. Our US performance was above 50-65Mbps indicating above-average performance.

The client interface looks visually appealing. Your current location and connection status are at first highlighted on a small map and hence even a novice can understand it. You must choose locations from a single alphabetically-sorted list of countries and you have a bonus simple tracker blocking. We loved the app feature which can automatically connect to the VPN when you access an insecure network.
